NLUJAA CAMPUS TOUR

The University campus is situated in a beautiful landscape facing mighty Brahmaputra River with an imposing hill in the background in a sprawling 150 bighas of land in Amingaon. Academic Block, Administrative Block, Boys Hostel and Girls Hostel with excellent modern facilities.

The University has reached its next level in terms of the infrastructure facilities. Every faculty member is provided with an independent chamber to study and do research and guide students visiting them. The University is at the threshold of becoming a great legal education institution in the coming years.

Construction of Library Building, Judicial Academy, Staff Quarters, Guest House, VC’s Bungalow, Registrar’s Bungalow and other support structures is under process.

	Academic Block Academic Block with the state-of-the-art facilities consisting of classrooms, faculty rooms, boys and girls common rooms, moot court hall and other facilities is constructed. The customized smart classrooms with digital board, LCD screen, LCD projector, microphone, spacious seating arrangements in a theatrical condition with central air conditioning, etc. have been made available in the new building.
	Administrative Block Administrative Block is built with modern facilities housing VC’s Office, Offices of Registrar, Finance Officer, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrars, Academic, Administrative, Examination, IT Section, Accounts, Development, Engineering Sections and all other support services.
	There is a Meeting Hall with excellent IT arrangements adjacent VC’s office for conducting meeting of Academic Council, Executive Council, General Council and other bodies. There is a Conference Hall accommodating 150 persons to conduct conferences and seminars. There is a Moot Court Hall with most modern ICT equipment for conducting national and international level moot court competitions. There are also conference rooms of smaller types in the building. There is a well-equipped Health Centre to provide first aid and basic medical facilities. To tackle any kind of medical emergency the University owns an ambulance that is available 24x7.
	Staff Quarters The University Staff Quarters are built adjacent to the main campus. There are two buildings capacity of 12 numbers of 2BHK quarters and 12 numbers of 1BHK quarters with 24x7 electricity and water supply facility.

The foundation stone of the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam was laid by the Chancellor Hon'ble Mr. Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel, Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court in presence of Hon'ble Judges of the Gauhati High Court, Members of the General Council, Statutory Bodies, Students, other Distinguished Guests and the Vice Chancellor on 1st July, 2012.
