Ms. Veena J Kamath 

Veena J Kamath completed her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Dr. RML National Law University, Lucknow (2009-2014) and a holds the Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) degree, a post-graduation in law, from the University of Oxford, UK (2014-2015). After completing her post-graduation, with specialisation in Restitution of Unjust Enrichment, Conflict of Laws (Private International Law), Commercial Remedies and International Commercial Arbitration, she is working as an Associate at Kamath & Kamath, Advocates, Solicitors and Tax Consultants, a law firm headquartered in Bengaluru. Her areas of practice include commercial litigation, arbitration and transactional work. As a litigation lawyer, she appears before the Supreme Court, High Courts (mostly at High Court of Karnataka), Trial Courts(Civil) and statutory tribunals such as National Company Law Tribunal, Karnataka Appellate Tribunal and the like.

Apart from practising as a litigation lawyer, Veena Kamath is very passionate about teaching and learning and accordingly she is a part of the academia by continuing those practises she inculcated as a law student, only this time as a mentor/teacher. These include being a part of various Colleges/Universities as a part-time faculty/guest faculty and conducting lecture series for students at Kamath & Kamath in the field of Contract Law, Property Law, Tort Law, Commercial Laws and International Air and Space Law. She is also involved in the extra-curricular activities that are a core of a law school, such as drafting moot problems and judging various moot court competitions, dealing with Public International Law, International Environmental Law and other areas of her specialisation. Apart from this, Veena Kamath is actively engaged in training students outside law school in the form of offering internship to students from various law schools across the country, the training being both from an academic perspective as well as guiding students in making the right career choices.
